KUED Reviews: Best PBS KIDS Apps
A few weeks ago Elise and I talked about how awesome all of the PBS Kids apps are. So, last night I got my friends to download the free PBS Kids apps and review which ones our KUED Kids families should download. It turned into quite the debate, but in the end we settled on our top three.
To quote my friend Bryant, “This will make traveling (with his son) a breeze.” This app is completely FREE so you can watch your favorite shows on the go. It also give parents a chance to use the tips provided in the app for small learning moments with their kids. Now if you’ll just give me a few minutes, I’m going to go watch an episode of Dinosaur Train!
An evening out at the park is the perfect time for this one! Focused on the basics of astronomy, this app teaches facts about the solar system and the origins of constellations. With a quick phone you can even even point at the sky and have the app tell you the name of the constellation in that direction!
If the photo doesn't sell you already, this app can enable a fun afternoon of photo editing. Put stickers from your favorite PBS Kids shows on your photos, and then quickly save them.
Hopefully you’ll be able to enjoy these apps, and let us know which apps from PBS Kids you enjoy with your family!
