Peter and the Starcatchers - Review

Review by Carlie.

One of my favorite books as a kid was Peter and the Starcatchers. I always loved the story of Peter Pan. I mean what kid or adult doesn't love to think about a magical land that exists "past the second star to the right and straight on till morning?"

Peter and the Starcatchers is how Peter Pan came to be. It is about a young orphan boy in London that teams up with a group of boys and a young girl named Molly to fight pirates, thieves and keep their secret of "star stuff" away from enemies. Sound familiar? "Star stuff" comes from a falling star and has to be found and gathered!

For me, this book was able to recreate the magic I felt as a young child watching Peter Pan. You can believe in the magic of Peter Pan at any age but as a 5th grader I still had the attitude of never wanting to grow up! And the best part of this book? It's a series of 3 books so you have even more to love!

My husband and I were Peter and his shadow for Halloween!
