Howdy everyone! I’m Missy. I’m an artist, a blogger, and games are my favorite! I love getting swept up in a mind-boggling puzzle that really gets my brain working. So when I can create my own game, that’s even better! Here is a way for you to create your very own jig-saw puzzle.

Supplies:

  • PDF puzzle pattern (attached above)
  • 8.5”x11” image from an old calendar, magazine, or one that you've printed
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Instructions:

  1. Print the PDF puzzle template.

  2. Put glue all over the back of the puzzle.

  3. Glue the puzzle to the back of your chosen image. Make sure it’s glued down very smoothly and securely, especially around the edges. It might help to lay a book over it, while it dries.

  4. After the glue is completely dry, cut out each puzzle piece and keep them all together.

  5. Cut around the outside of the pattern and the rectangle.

  6. Throw the edges away.

  7. Now flip over the pieces, to the image side, and put together your puzzle!

Wrap-up:

Wasn’t that easy and also really fun? You can make as many puzzles as you want, with as many images as you like. You can even make a puzzle of your own face! If you want to take it one step further, you can mix and match two puzzles to create a crazy image in the end. Have fun!
