It’s easy to get overwhelmed during the holidays with the hustle and bustle of running around, working in the kitchen, shopping, and gift wrapping. It’s important to take time to get outside and breathe! Not only will your kids appreciate your taking a break with them, but you’ll find yourself feeling much more energized, relaxed, and appreciative of each holiday as it comes.  Collect pine cones and make festive ornaments out of them

 Go on a day hike

 Volunteer at a food bank or soup kitchen

 Go cross-country skiing

 Head downtown to see the lights
