Winter Activity Bucket List

We have put together a Winter Bucket List of our favorite winter and holiday traditions, and have found some safe ways for your and your family to still create fun memories this holiday season. Click on the links to see some of the fun activity ideas. • Collect pine cones and make festive ornaments.
• Go on a snowy hike.
• Call Santa's voicemail at 951-262-3062 (the phone calls are free!).
• Bake cookies to celebrate National Cookie Day on December 4.
• Go sledding.
• Drive around town to see the lights and listen to Christmas music. KSL has a map of all the lights in town!
• Build a snowman family in your front yard.
• Gather twigs and make a star-shaped tree topper.
• Decorate Christmas cards and deliver to your neighbors.
• Make gifts out of items found in nature (rocks, twigs, leaves, etc.).
• Build a puzzle together as a family.
• Go ice-skating.
• Visit the tree of light at Draper Park.
• Have a backyard campfire and drink hot cocoa.
• Visit the lights at Utah State Fairpark or Thanksgiving Point.
• Make hot chocolate and play a favorite family game.
• Make popcorn and watch the Charlie Brown Christmas Special on PBS KIDS on December 13.
• Make a snow angel.
• Make Festival of Light luminaries to line your street.
• Have a snowball fight.
