Contact in the Community hosted by Mary Dickson, is a web series inspired by PBS Utah’s Contact with Mary Dickson. The produced segments take a more in-depth look at Utah’s arts and culture organizations by going out into the community to highlight the wide range of groups and events available in the state.
Utah is home to one of the nations largest populations of refugee youth. Kidnected World’s Wonderment initiative brings our young refugee community creative tools and resources with the Utah Refugees Maker Bus. The bus acts as a mobile unit that can travel to various refugee communities, schools, and other destinations to provide access to social, creative and educational resources.
Spring City leads the way in historic preservation and restoration in Utah. The town was designated a national historic district in the late 1970s. Since then, more than 50 of its historic gems have been lovingly restored.
The Friends of Historic Spring City will hold its annual Spring City Heritage Day, on Saturday, May 28, 2016. The public will be able to tour of many of the town’s charming, mid-19th Century pioneer homes and buildings, and visits galleries of local artists.
