KUED brings the Cleone Peterson Eccles Mobile Education Lab to community events around the Salt Lake Valley and Utah. The Mobile Education Lab is a set of tablets preloaded with the rich library of PBS Kids educational apps. The Mobile Education Labs travels to three different schools each week during the school year as part of the Ready To Learn Family Learning Nights.
KUED has outfitted partnering nonprofits around Utah with permanent Cleone Peterson Eccles Mobile Education Labs. These permanent labs support KUED’s mission of providing equitable access to technology and educational resources to all children. Utilizing the PBS Playtime Pads, children have access to more than 25 educational games that are fun and encourage creativity while reinforcing science, math, social emotional, and literacy skills.
