Each episode of "WordWorld" is a narrative built around a wacky troupe of characters, WordFriends, who are characters first and words second. "WordWorld's" WordFriends go on comic adventures and face challenges that can only be resolved with the right word. Sheep is a shy little girl who loves to pretend; Frog is the cautious brainiac and word "expert"; impetuous Duck is still learning his letters; Pig lives in the moment; Ant is a pragmatic bundle of energy; and Dog is a WordFriend's best friend. A key component of the show is word building, a unique moment when children witness a word "morph" into the thing it is. Word building reinforces the pre-reading concept that letters make words and that words have meaning.

NATURE CAT follows Fred, a house cat who dreams of exploring the great outdoors. In each episode, once his family leaves for the day, Fred transforms into Nature Cat, “backyard explorer extraordinaire.” Nature Cat can't wait to get outside for a day of backyard nature excursions and bravery, but there’s one problem: He’s still a house cat with no instincts for nature. With the help of his animal friends, Nature Cat embarks on action-packed adventures full of nature investigation, “aha” discovery moments and humor, all while inspiring children to go outside and “play the show.”
PBS Kids is proud to present Nature Cat, a new animated series for kids ages 3-8, designed to encourage children to explore and develop connections with the natural world. Nature Cat will premiere on KUED Wednesday, November 25, 2015, airing Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. through January.
Nature Cat is voiced by an all-star line-up of comedic actors, including Saturday Night Live stars Taran Killam (Nature Cat), Kate McKinnon (Squeeks), Bobby Moynihan (Hal) and Kenan Thompson (Ronald); and Kate Micucci (Scrubs, The Big Bang Theory) as Daisy.
“With its hilarious voice talent, whimsical animation style and playful storylines, Nature Cat will engage and entertain families, while encouraging an interest in exploring nature,” said Lesli Rotenberg, General Manager, Children’s Media, PBS. “PBS KIDS uses the power to media to inspire children to go on learning adventures of their own, and this new series will help them discover the wonders that are as close as their own backyard or local park.”

ARTHUR is based on the best-selling children's books by Marc Brown. The series revolves around an eight year-old aardvark, his four year-old sister DW, and their family and friends.
ARTHUR is a show about being a kid, exploring the world, and finding your place in it. It's about kids finding inner strengths, learning to make choices for themselves, taking responsibility for them and of course, having fun. In each episode, Arthur and his gang guide us through stories that deal with real "kid issues" -- timeless difficulties and joys that all kids experience.
The series also models the joys and rewards of literacy by presenting the many ways kids and adults incorporate reading and writing into their lives. Above all, ARTHUR is a comedy that tells its stories from a kids' point of view, never moralizing or talking down to them.
