Following the sad passing of Sen. John McCain, PBS will look back on his remarkable life and career with FRONTLINE: McCain. FRONTLINE has updated the film with reactions from Sen. McCain’s peers and colleagues since his passing. KUED will re-air FRONTLINE: McCain Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 9:00 p.m. The Tuesday night play replaces FRONTLINE’s previously planned episode, American Patriot. Sen. John McCain, a towering figure in American politics, has died at age 81 following a battle with brain cancer. The film looks back at his life, politics, and legacy, from his years as a POW in Vietnam, to his dramatic 2017 vote against the GOP's health care bill. John McCain left an indelible imprint on American politics over the course of more than three decades in Congress. The updated FRONTLINE: McCain will be available for streaming on PBS platforms as well, including video.kued.org. |
