Resources on Race, Racism, and Being Black in America

From PBS and PBS Utah

Since 1958, PBS Utah has been committed to serving the greater Utah community through diverse PBS & local productions, K-12 educational programs, and community engagement. In accordance with our long-held values of independence, fairness, integrity, education, and innovation, we have organized this collection of resources for children, families, and adults to learn about the history of race and racism in this country, the stories of Black Americans, and the experiences of being Black in America today. While certainly not exhaustive, we hope these resources can serve as a stepping stone to deepen understanding, foster conversation, and enable meaningful change in our communities.
