Canyon: Bryce Canyon, Utah

Located in southwestern Utah, this park was established in 1928 and is named after its first settler, Mormon Pioneer Ebenezer Bryce. Despite being called a 'canyon', this park is actually a collection of giant natural amphitheaters made up of forests of stone that feature thousands of hoodoos, or stone columns, spiraling up into the sky.
