May 1: Truth Under Fire

Truth Under Fire
May 1
6 – 8:30 PM
Utah Cultural Celebration Center, West Valley City

How do you stay grounded in truth when the media landscape feels more polarized than ever?

Join us for an evening dedicated to thoughtful civic dialogue where we will engage directly with questions about media literacy, ethics, freedom of expression, and individual responsibility, leaving with practical tools for navigating today’s fast‑moving information environment.

The event features a screening of Breaking the Deadlock: Truth Under Fire, followed by guided table discussions and a live panel conversation with journalists, educators, and civic leaders. Together, we’ll explore how misinformation spreads, how trust in media is formed and fractured, and what responsibility individuals and institutions share in protecting truth in our public life.

Seating is limited, please email Jessica Rasekhi at jrasekhi@pbsutah.org  to reserve your seat. You may RSVP for up to 4 people.
