Missy's Apple Stamps

Email share

Hello, hello! My name is Missy. I’m an artist and guest blogger here at PBS Utah Kids & Education. One thing that symbolizes fall for me is apples. I love picking them and pressing them into cider and eating them and baking with them and even crafting with them! Have you ever used an apple for an arts and crafts project? I will teach you how!

  1. Squeeze some paints onto your cardboard. I used yellow, red and green.
  2. Use a paint brush to apply the paint (I started with yellow) to one of your apple halves.
  3. Stamp that painted apple on your white paper. Stamp it again in a new spot.
  4. Apply a different color of paint to a different apple half.
  5. Stamp that painted apple on your white paper. Stamp it again in a new spot.
  6. Repeat as many times as you like.
  7. Use your markers to add stems, seeds or leaves.

Wrap Up

To complete my apple stamp page, I wrote “I love you bunches!” You can do that too if you like. Then give it to someone you love. Be creative and have fun!
