The 2025 St. George Mayoral Debate is presented by the Washington County Debate Coalition and PBS Utah, in partnership with KUER.
PBS Utah and KUER are excited to announce the highly anticipated St. George Mayoral Debate, featuring candidates Michele Randall and Jimmie B. Hughes. The debate will take place Oct. 13, at 7:00 p.m., and will be moderated by Lauren Steinbrecher, PBS Utah host. The event is put on by the Washington County Debate Coalition and is open to the public, but will also be livestreamed on multiple PBS Utah and KUER platforms.
"We are thrilled to partner with the Washington County Debate Coalition to make these important debates available as widely as possible," said PBS Utah Station Manager James Davie. "Some of the decisions that most directly impact our lives are made in city government, so it's incredibly important that we have a chance to hear from those who want to represent us at that level."
This engaging and informative debate will shed light on the policies and plans of the candidates vying for the role of St. George mayor. The event is expected to draw a wide audience interested in the future of the city.
The event will be live streamed on:
