Charlotte Boye-Christensen, Dance Choreographer
For Charlotte Boye-Christensen, art is about pushing boundaries. In pursuing that goal, has built a life rich in dance experience and instruction. With formal training at London Contemporary Dance School and New York University, she has performed and choreographed around the world. She has served as the Artistic Director of the Ririe-Woodbuy Dance Company in Salt Lake City, creating 26 new works while there. In 2013 she formed NOW-ID, an interdisciplinary site-specific contemporary performance company.
Despite her vast experience in the world of dance, she attributes the success of her work almost entirely to the viewer. Her performances encourage the audience to look at life differently, to gain perspective from a series of movements, expression, or location.
