Season 1, Episode 1

Howard Clark, Abstract Painter

For abstract painter Howard S. Clark, art is about healing; he uses it as a way of coping with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. According to neuroscientists, art and creativity provide a way to forget compulsive thoughts, focus on something more pleasant, and build up serotonin in the brain. Therapy aside, art is also just plain fun. And Clark’s joy and love of color, texture, and motion is contagious.
