Juneteenth Celebration: Fighting for Freedom

Join PBS Utah's Danor Gerald and Lonzo Liggins, hosts of Roots, Race, & Culture, for an enlightening conversation about what it means to be free and equal. They'll be joined by Robert Burch, Dr. Richard Ferguson, and Dr. Sidni Shorter.
Arrive at 6 PM for sweet potato pie and a tour of two Smithsonian poster exhibits: A Place for All People: Introducing the National Museum of African American History and Culture and City of Hope: Resurrection City & The 1968 Poor People’s Campaign. You can also visit our bead table to make your own Juneteenth bracelet in red, black, green, and gold! The conversation will follow at 7 PM.
