Email share

With the 2026 Midterm Elections now around the corner, Davis County Election Clerk Brian McKenzie said he’s been taking calls from voters. Some have questions about the election process. Others inquire if voting this year requires extra steps than previous years.

“I think the common thing that we are getting from voters is frustration,” he explained. “There’s a frustration in the continual changes or the anticipated changes.”

“A lot a lot of people ask, you know, how could our election results be manipulated or changed?” he said.

Watch the video below to see why McKenzie said it’s impossible to change election results, as he walks through the process of election security and ballot counting. Learn why some voters are casting doubt, and why Lt. Governor Deidre Henderson says, “the facts just don't support that narrative.”
