Krishna Temple

Located at the junction of U.S. Route 89 and I-15 in Spanish Fork, the Shri Shri Radha Krishna Temple is now beginning a third decade in the community. The Lotus Temple is a place of worship for Hare Krishnas, devotees of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Vaibhavi Devi and Caru Das, the founders of the temple, talk about how their faith led them to this unlikely place.

Song of the Paiute Native Youth Group

The Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah's Native Youth program offers opportunities for kids to learn historical and cultural traditions and participate in important community events. They believe the kids hold the key to a full recovery from a past clouded by the wrongful termination of the Paiutes' Federal recognition, which was reinstated in 1980 through the collaboration of the five constituent bands.

Best Friends - Save Them All

Tucked into Kanab's redrock canyons in southern Utah, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is leader of a national philosophical shift in the way communities relate to shelter pets, and it is physical home to the largest no-kill sanctuary in the nation. At Best Friends, cats, dogs, horses, pigs, birds, bunnies, and other animals find a haven, along with the chance to be adopted by a loving family.
